First you want to suspend everything, to do this you can go to Browse in Anki β on the left hand side find note types β click on AnKingOverhaul (AnKing / AnKingMed) β suspend all cards
Then to unsuspend biochemistry cards, pick the tag you want, for example you can use BNB or FA and then unsuspend the cards in that tag
Then you can create a custom filtered deck to do the cards or move the cards to a new deck, whichever you prefer
Hi! In the cards for BnB Psych, I noticed that many of the cards tagged in the extras section is for Step 2. They either have the tag βonly_step2β or are generally Step 2 content. Is this the proper tag for these cards? I unsuspended all the cards for Step 1 psych BnB about 2 weeks ago, and Iβm now finding these new ones under the extras sections. Please let me know if this is a correct tag, or if you guys meant to tag them under BnB psych step 2 extras, not Step 1. Thanks!
Hi there, I for some reason cannot get Anki to work, it states that there are only 20 flashcards for each options even thought I followed the instructions to a T and also subscribed and unsubscribed multiple times to retry. Is it that there really only are 20 flashcards for each subject?
Iβve just downloaded anki and the anking step deck
Itβs incredibly over whelming and struggling to get head around it
After downloading the anking deck and synching media is still saying itβs missing 15074 files
No images are showing in any flash card just words
Help please
It seems the cards are very specific also
Its not testing me on basic stuff like anatomy or anything like that
I am in my 9th week first year doctor of medicine- can you give any guidance on where to start on the anking deck as a first year med student
The AnKing step deck was designed for USMLE Step 1, 2, and 3. Not necessarily first year medicine concepts like anatomy or pathology.
You can use it to supplement your learning using the tags, there are topics that can be relevant to first year medicine.
What images are missing in the deck? If you can see all the images then youβre good to go. If you are missing images (as in they show up as a blank icon), then do the following: Resetting Local Changes
I would align it with your subjects, for example if you are doing immunology, then Iβd do the Boards & Beyond section on immunology, so on and so forth.
Things like Anatomy, you will have to use your in class lectures and you can create cards from those lectures. You could also ask around the senior students, they might have premade decks specific for the material you are currently learning
