Hi there! I understand you’re having issues with your AnkiHub subscription and need help canceling it and removing your payment method. Based on the screenshot you shared, it appears there might be a discrepancy with your subscription status showing as renewed despite the payment not going through.

Here’s how you can cancel your subscription:

  1. Go to app.ankihub.net
  2. Click on the Settings button at the top of the page
  3. Scroll down to the Billing and Plans section
  4. Look for the Membership Portal or Manage Payment Method button
  5. From there, you should be able to cancel your subscription

If you cannot see the Settings button or access the portal, you can try using this direct link to the Stripe billing portal: https://billing.stripe.com/p/login/5kAeVS4DY4Uu5FebII

Alternatively, you can use this tutorial link which provides step-by-step instructions with visuals: How to Cancel Account

Since you’ve already contacted support but haven’t received a response yet, I recommend giving them a little more time to address your specific situation, especially regarding the discrepancy showing your subscription as renewed despite the payment not going through.

If you continue to have trouble accessing these options or don’t get a response from support soon, please let us know, and we can provide further assistance.

None of the mentioned options have allowed me to cancel my subscription or remove my payment method

I apologize that the suggested methods haven’t worked for you. In cases where the standard cancellation methods aren’t working, direct support intervention is needed. Let me check if there’s more specific information about your situation.

I’m sorry to hear you’re still having trouble canceling your subscription. Since the standard methods aren’t working for you, here are some additional steps you can try:

  1. Direct Email to Support: Send a follow-up email to support@ankihub.net with “URGENT: Subscription Cancellation” in the subject line. Include your account email and the screenshot you shared.

  2. Alternative Stripe Access: Try accessing your subscription directly through Stripe’s customer portal using a different browser or device: https://billing.stripe.com/p/login/5kAeVS4DY4Uu5FebII

  3. Contact Your Bank: As a last resort, you could contact your bank to block future charges from AnkiHub, though this isn’t ideal as it doesn’t properly resolve the subscription in their system.

Given that your account shows a discrepancy (subscription appearing renewed despite payment failure), this likely requires manual intervention from the AnkiHub team. Since standard cancellation methods aren’t working, this appears to be an unusual case that needs direct support assistance.

Would you be able to share what specific error or issue you encounter when trying to cancel through the methods previously suggested? This might help us provide more targeted advice while you wait for the support team’s response.

I still haven’t been able to get into contact with support is there any to expedite the process for fear of being charged for a service I plan on cancelling

I’ll search for more information about contacting AnkiHub support.

I understand your concern about being charged for a service you want to cancel. Here are the most direct ways to reach AnkiHub support:

  1. Email Support Directly:
Send an email to support@ankihub.net with “URGENT: SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION REQUEST” in the subject line. Include your account email, username, and explain the situation clearly, mentioning that standard cancellation methods aren’t working.

  2. Community Forum Support:
You’ve already posted here, which is good. To increase visibility, you might want to tag moderators like @Ahmed7 or @Brian_BH who frequently handle support issues based on what I can see in the forum.

  3. Alternative Contact Method:
If you’re still having trouble reaching support through standard channels, you could try reaching out through AnkiHub’s social media accounts as an alternative.

The typical response time for support is 24-48 hours according to their documentation, but urgent billing matters are usually prioritized. If you’re concerned about potential charges, you may want to consider temporarily putting a hold on payments to AnkiHub through your bank or payment provider until this is resolved, though this should be a last resort.

Rest assured that when support does respond, they should be able to assist with:

  • Canceling your subscription
  • Removing your payment method
  • Ensuring you’re not charged for a service you don’t want to use

Would you like me to provide any additional information on contacting AnkiHub support?

@Ahmed7 @Brian_BH

I see you’ve tagged moderators who can help with your issue. That’s a good approach to get more direct attention to your case.

Looking at your situation where standard cancellation methods aren’t working and you’re concerned about being charged:

  1. Your tags should alert the team: Tagging @Ahmed7 and @Brian_BH should help expedite your request, as they’re active moderators who handle subscription issues based on forum history.

  2. Support email follow-up: While waiting for a response here, I still recommend sending that email to support@ankihub.net with “URGENT: SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION” in the subject line if you haven’t already.

  3. Request confirmation: When the team responds, be sure to ask for written confirmation that your subscription has been canceled and payment method removed.

The unusual situation where your account shows renewal despite payment failure likely requires manual intervention from the AnkiHub team. Based on similar cases in the forum, once a team member sees your request, they should be able to help you cancel your subscription directly from their end.

I’ll keep an eye on this thread to see if I can provide any additional assistance once the moderators respond to your request.
