High yield cards suspend

Hi, I am trying to suspend only the high yield cards for particular blocks, I did it in the past for some reason it’s not working now. I also tried pasting “tag:#AK_Step1_v12::^Other::^HighYield” and hitting enter and nothing happens. Any advice? I had this issue before and it got resolved not sure how but I am having the same issue again

Hi Neetigalwankar,

It sounds like you’re trying to suspend high-yield cards for specific blocks using tags. The search syntax for tags is very specific in Anki, and there might be a few reasons why your search isn’t working now.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check your tag syntax:
    When searching for tags in the browser, make sure you’re using the correct format. For high-yield cards in the AnKing deck, the proper tag format is:

    tag:#AK_Step1_v12::#Low/HighYield::1-HighYield

  2. Browser search limitations:

    • Make sure you’re hitting Enter after typing the tag search
    • Ensure there are no extra spaces in your search
    • Try clicking directly on the tag in the tag browser (left side panel) instead of typing it
  3. Tag hierarchy:
    The high-yield tags in the AnKing Step deck are organized in a specific hierarchy under #AK_Step1_v12::#Low/HighYield, with five sub-categories:

    • 1-HighYield
    • 2-RelativelyHighYield
    • 3-HighYield-temporary
    • 4-LowerYield
    • 5-LowYield

How to Properly Search and Suspend

  1. Open the Anki Browser
  2. In the left sidebar, navigate to the tags panel
  3. Expand #AK_Step1_v12 folder
  4. Find and expand #Low/HighYield
  5. Click directly on the specific yield level you want (e.g., 1-HighYield)
  6. Once the cards are displayed, select all (Ctrl+A)
  7. Right-click and choose “Suspend”

If you’re trying to combine specific blocks with high-yield tags, you can try a search like:

tag:#AK_Step1_v12::^Other::^HighYield tag:YourBlockTag

Hello, :slight_smile:

It looks like the bot pretty well covered your questions, though please let us know if there is anything else we can help with

Thanks, the tag given here worked is it possible to get the #2 and #3 tags as well, on my anki deck I only see #1 and #2 and those are not the right tags because when I paste them they do not work and I do not even see #3 #4. Thanks again

Hello,

You can access the cards for a specific tag simply by clicking on the tag. This will automatically enter the correct search term into the search bar. The yield tags are located here:

However, if you prefer, here are the correct search terms for each of the yield tags:
tag:#AK_Step1_v12::#Low/HighYield::1-HighYield
tag:#AK_Step1_v12::#Low/HighYield::2-RelativelyHighYield
tag:#AK_Step1_v12::#Low/HighYield::3-HighYield-temporary
tag:#AK_Step1_v12::#Low/HighYield::4-LowerYield
tag:#AK_Step1_v12::#Low/HighYield::5-LowYield

Thank you so much!!
