Hi, I am trying to suspend only the high yield cards for particular blocks, I did it in the past for some reason itâs not working now. I also tried pasting âtag:#AK_Step1_v12::^Other::^HighYieldâ and hitting enter and nothing happens. Any advice?
Iâll help you figure out how to properly suspend high-yield cards in AnkiHub. Let me search for some information on this issue first.

I see the issue youâre having with suspending high yield cards for your Step 1 V12 deck. Let me help you with the correct tagging format and search syntax.
The Problem with Your Search
The search tag youâre using tag:#AK_Step1_v12::^Other::^HighYield
is almost correct, but there might be a couple of reasons itâs not working:
- In Anki, tag searches are case-sensitive
- The exact tag structure in the AnKing V12 deck has specific formatting
The Correct Tag Format
According to the AnKing Step Deck tags documentation, the high yield tag is organized under:
#AK_Step1_v12
â ^Other
â ^HighYield
There are actually 5 different levels of âhigh yieldâ content as mentioned in the documentation:
How to Fix This
Try these solutions:
-
Use the exact case and format:
tag:AK_Step1_v12::^Other::^HighYield
(Note: no # symbol in the search)
-
Make sure youâre in card view mode, not note view mode:
- Go to the Browse screen
- Check the dropdown menu at the top and ensure itâs set to âCardsâ not âNotesâ
- This is a common issue that prevents users from seeing suspended/unsuspended status
-
Try a broader search first:
tag:AK_Step1_v12::^Other::^HighYield
If that doesnât work, try:
tag:^HighYield
After finding the cards, you can select them all and press the âSuspendâ button (or use the keyboard shortcut âCtrl+Jâ or âCmd+Jâ on Mac).
If youâre still having trouble, please let me know which specific blocks youâre trying to limit your study to, and I can provide more targeted search queries.
The correct search text to paste is:
As you can see in the screenshot, all the relevant cards for this search should appear.
Also, make sure that âCardsâ is selected instead of âNotesâ in the browser. This way, suspended cards will be highlighted in yellow.
