When I try to open Anki it says Anki Overhaul for Step 1 & 2 AnkiHub 0 / 0?

How do I separate just Step 1?

You will have to use the tags or custom studies to separate cards

Is there a video that just walks you through it? Honestly… I feel like I am wasting my time, trying to figure out how to get this working and it isn’t working.

Do you have the tag #AK_step1_V12? How many cards do you have in that tag?

You can go to the tag #AK_step1_V12 → select the cards you want to study → right click → unsuspend

Then you will see those cards on your main screen and you can start studying them!
