BTW anki on old laptop which has version 24.06.1 and it works and I can log in with no problem.

My understanding is that this may be a bug related specifically to Windows.

One option is to downgrade to 24.06, as it sounds like you’re aware. The other option, though I can’t guarantee the likelihood of it working, is to give this a shot: Trouble logging into AnkiHub - #14 by abdo.nh

eyy everything works now I downloaded the 24.06.3, thanks!

Should I refrain from downloading any updated Anki versions from now on?
