some media files are not syncing even though they exist on AnkiHub in my deck “Anki Erlangen”. It’s about the cards that I just uploaded with the tag “Vorlesung_Erlangen::8.Semester::HNO”.
Resetting local changes did not help.
Example notes with missing media/not synchronizing:
noteid:1747059907029
noteid:1747060318396
noteid:1747060648996

I’ll help you with the media syncing issue for your “Anki Erlangen” deck. Let me search for some relevant information about media syncing problems in AnkiHub to better understand your situation.

Hi there! I understand you’re having issues with media files not syncing in your “Anki Erlangen” deck, specifically for cards with the tag “Vorlesung_Erlangen::8.Semester::HNO”. Let me help you troubleshoot this issue.
First, let’s check the media sync status:
Open the AnkiHub add-on
Check what the media sync status says:
If it says “Downloading” - the media is still being transferred
If it says “Idle” - the sync should be complete
If it shows “Idle” but you’re still missing media, let’s try these solutions:
Solution 1: Reset local changes (properly)
Since you mentioned resetting local changes didn’t help, make sure you’re doing it correctly:
Go to Browse
Select the affected notes (you can search for the tag “Vorlesung_Erlangen::8.Semester::HNO”)
Click on the AnkiHub add-on tab at the top
Click “Reset local changes”
Make sure to select the correct deck (“Anki Erlangen”)
Solution 2: Check media files in Anki
Go to Tools > Check Media
This will generate a report of missing media files
After running this check, sync again to see if Anki can download the missing files
Solution 3: Manual media import
If the automatic sync isn’t working, try manually importing the media:
Navigate to the AnkiHub add-on in your menubar
Click on “Import media”
Choose the appropriate source for your media files
Additional checks:
Ensure you have a stable internet connection
Check if you have enough disk space available
Verify that the media files exist on the AnkiHub server
If you continue to have issues after trying these steps, please provide more details about:
What your media sync status shows
What happens when you try to manually import media
Whether the Check Media tool reports any missing files
Can you double-check those notes now, and see if the images are showing up for you?

Hello,
first of all thanks for taking the time! I really appreciate that. I checked the files several times and tried to make a suggestion to see if it then downloads the media file but it didn’t work. So in the end the problem still persists.
@AG_Jonny I fixed the issue for the notes mentioned in your first post. The images will only appear for new subscribers though. You can work around the issue in your account by unsubscribing from the deck using AnkiHub > Deck Management > Unsubscribe then subscribing again.
Thanks, yes the media is there for the notes I mentioned! Incredible.
Unfortunately there are some more, I will link them here. Could you help me with these? missing media noteid.txt (1.3 KB)
