Does anyone know where the issue lies if every time I use Anki (AnkiHub), the media sync log takes an extended period (1 to 2 hours), despite having completed the media sync the previous day?

Is this the first time you have installed the anking deck? If so, it might take a long time for the initial sync, have you waited enough time for it to sync fully?
Also, when prompted, have you clicked “upload to ankiweb”?
