Hello,
I’m happy to help! Could you please provide more details about the issue you’re experiencing?
A bunch of cards are coming up with the message missing cloze or whatever. I saw the support online just says to delete them, but I’m curious of how many times will I have to do that and how much information am I missing out on?
There are generally two reasons why that happens:
-
First, a cloze on a card may have been deleted by the AnkiHub team because it’s no longer relevant. If that’s the case, you don’t need to worry about missing out on any information.
-
Second, if you are seeing this too frequently, there might be an issue with field protection. Please follow this tutorial 🔐 Protecting Fields and Tags to ensure the “Front” field is unchecked. We usually recommend only protecting the “Missing Questions” and “Lecture Notes” fields by checking their boxes. Then, try resetting local changes by following this tutorial How to Reset Local Changes
Then go to Tools > Empty Cards, and click Delete
Let us know if you continue to experience this issue.
