Hey, what about an update to Anking where we can right click our custom tags within the Anking deck and select “protect” this tag. This would save people the step of having to go to the Ankihub site to add the text in case-sensititve format in the “manage protected fields” part. Plus, it would be cool if that text in ankihub could automatically update if we changed the name of the tag within anki directly so it doesn’t get wiped accidently. This could really end basically all of the confusion people have with protecting tags.
Like if I could just right click “UWorld_Completed” and then there would be a protect option
The other suggestion is to make the Exam notifier have an option to show up for the certain cards only within a whole deck. I’m preparing for Step 2 while I’m in my OBGYN rotation so it would be nice only my OBGYN rotation cards (which I flagged blue) would have the warning at the bottom if it was being sent past my shelf exam date and cards for other rotations didn’t have any exam notifier pop up, even if it was being sent past my OBGYN shelf exam date.
