Youâve just copied the template text for this Support category into your post, so there isnât actually a question or description of your issue yet.
From your topic title (âSubscription display errorâ), it sounds like youâre having trouble with how your AnkiHub subscription status is being shown (on the website, in the add-on, billing page, etc.).
To help you properly (and so the team can investigate), please reply with:
Whatâs wrong exactly?
For example: âShows no active subscription on AnkiHub website but I was chargedâ, or âAnki add-on says subscription expired but web shows activeâ.
This kind of âcharged but no active subscriptionâ situation is usually one of these:
Different email / account issue
You might have:
Paid with one email, but
Logged into AnkiHub with a different email (or Apple/Google login).
Please doubleâcheck:
The email shown under Profile â Preferences â Account on AnkiHub
The email on your payment receipt (Stripe/PayPal/Apple/Google, etc.)
If they donât match, log out of AnkiHub and log back in with the email that was charged.
Payment still processing / delayed activation
Sometimes it can take a few minutes for the payment provider to confirm the payment and for AnkiHub to update the subscription.
Try:
Logging out of AnkiHub (web + add-on)
Close Anki, reopen it
Log back in to the same account on both the web and the add-on, then try syncing again.
Add-on not updated to new status
Open Anki â Tools â Add-ons â AnkiHub â click Config â make sure youâre logged in with the same email as the website.
Then click Check for updates / sync again.
What I recommend you do next
Please reply with:
The email address you used for the purchase (you can partially blur it, e.g., mar***@gmail.com, but keep enough so staff can identify it).
Confirm whether that exact email is the one youâre logged in with on AnkiHub (web and add-on).
A screenshot of:
Your AnkiHub â Profile picture (top right) â Billing / Subscription page showing âno active subscriptionâ.
The payment receipt (hide card details; leave date, amount, and email visible).
With that information, the support team can:
Manually confirm your payment in the billing system.
Attach the subscription to the correct account if it went to the wrong email.
Fix any display issue if everything is correct on their side.
Because this involves billing and personal info, if you prefer, you can also:
Start a private message with the AnkiHub Support team and include the same screenshots/details.
Once I know which email was charged and see the billing screenshot, I can guide you through the exact next step or flag it clearly for staff to fix your subscription.
