Hello AnkiHub family! Quick question here - I currently have the AnKing Overhaul for Step 1 & 2 Deck, and have since unsubscribed and resubscribed. I’m interested in syncing to get the new updates, but would a new sync overwrite cards that I have edited? (i.e. adding info to AnKing cards related to my uworld wrongs like screenshots of my incorrect questions). Let me know if this is preventable. Thank you for your time!

If you changes were in the lecture notes, missed questions, BNB, and Pathoma fields they wont be overwritten.
If they were in text and extra, they will be so you will need to protect your fields before updating so you don’t lose your edits.
