AnkiHub deck setup issues/help

Hey, I am starting my CA-1 year this July and recently completed my boards. I redownloaded Anki and subscribed to AnkiHub to download the Ankithesia deck that is shared here ( Sign In). I am trying to get started again with the deck but am having a lot of issues for some reason. I used Anki for Step 1 but have not used it since and I feel like I am missing some stuff. I am not sure if this is a deck or Anki specific issue or AnkiHub issue, hence posting here for some advice.

  1. I imported the media into Anki after downloading and extracting from google drive as shared on the deck page and it only imported ~70 media files (despite having ~1600+ files), while the Check Media in Anki is showing 2800+ missing files and 39 unused files. The AnkiHub addon is showing Media Sync as Idle, suggesting that there are no pending media downloads either. I am confused as to how to get the necessary media files for the images in Ankithesia deck.

  2. This issue is even more perplexing, as my Anki browser window does not show the selected card on the right when I click on a card in the middle section. It works for the first ~15 cards which seem to be empty but as soon as I get to the first card with content, it does not show up. And following that, I am unable to close the browser window or Anki app itself without force closing it through task manager. The app does not freeze, as I am still able to do other things, but I just cant view the card info or close browser. I can still move to other cards that have same issue. I can no longer see the empty card info on the right anymore either if I click on those again. The only addon I currently have is AnkiHub, and I wonder if there are certain addons that are utilized to make the cards which are causing the issues I am having and I need to download them? This is happening on my laptop and PC, both for which I redownloaded Anki, AnkiHub recently without any other addons.

Does using the Reset window sizes option in the preferences help?

I was able to figure out both of my issues.

For the media files: I realized the textbook images for M&M 6e were not shared. I found an old Reddit post with an expired links, for which I was able to recover one of them using archive.org to download the majority of the remaining media files. I have uploaded it on Google Drive separately and can share that with others if anyone is interested in the as close to full media collection for the Ankithesia deck.

For the browser not closing issue: I don’t know why but the first 5-7 cards that were under the first ~15 empty cards were the problem cards. They were the only cards that cause the issue out of the 11K (yes I went through them all…). So I deleted those cards, which isn’t a lot in the long run, and now my Anki browser closes appropriately. Not sure what the issue was but it is also now fixed.
