I have followed the tutorials to a T. I have unsuppressed the deck, and I changed the number of cards I do a day, but I cannot access a single card. I have even tried deleting the deck and redownloading. I’m not even getting an error message.

I see you’re having trouble accessing your AnkiHub deck even after unsuppressing it. This is a common issue that has a straightforward solution.
The Issue: Suspended Cards
When you first download an AnkiHub deck, all cards are automatically suspended by default. This is why you’re seeing 0 cards even though you’ve unsuppressed the deck.
How to Fix It:
- Open Anki and click on Browse
- On the left side, navigate to the Tags section
- Find and click on the tag for your deck (for example, #AK_Step1_V12 if it’s the AnKing deck)
- Select the cards you want to study (use Ctrl+A or Cmd+A to select all cards in that tag)
- Right-click on the selected cards and choose Toggle Suspend
The cards will change from yellow (suspended) to white/clear (unsuspended), and they’ll now appear in your deck for studying.
Additional Troubleshooting:
- If you changed the number of new cards per day in deck settings, make sure it’s not set to zero
- Make sure you’re clicking on the correct deck in your deck list
- Try restarting Anki after unsuspending the cards
- Check if your cards are properly synced with AnkiHub by going to AnkiHub → Synchronize in the Anki menu
If you’re still experiencing issues after trying these steps, please provide more details about which specific AnkiHub deck you’re using and any error messages you might be seeing.
Hello,
Could you please share a screenshot of your Anki main screen and one from the Browser showing what tags you have?
With this information, I can help you in a better way!
Alright, so you have some cards, but it looks like a lot of cards are missing.
-
Could you please click on the “#AK_step1_v12” tag and show me how many cards are in it?
-
In the meantime, you can also try to reset local changes by following this tutorial: How to Reset Local Changes
-
Additionally, to really make sure the cards are unsuspended, you can click here to change the view to “cards” — suspended cards will appear in yellow.

If this doesn’t solve the issue, we can try a few more things!
Thank you! I was able to get my cards back w resetting the local changes! Now I still don’t know how to increase the number of new cards I can see per day. I have tried editing the deck and making a custom study session but nothing seems to work.
Nevermind! My cards were indeed suppressed, but I was trying to edit my ‘notes’ and not my ‘cards.’ I had the 'notes selected in the blue toggle bar in the upper left hand corner of ‘browse.’
