My anking just synced to my anki app after doing it for 2 days now. But it only has 1 card and only instructions as the subdeck

The AnKing deck only has an “instructions” subdeck; the rest of the cards are organized by tags. You can learn more about the deck’s structure here: AnKing Step Deck Wiki

Your cards are probably suspended. Please follow this tutorial to choose the tag you want to study and unsuspend the cards within it: How to Get Started Studying

If the instruction card still appears when you start studying the deck, just move past it, and you’ll begin to see the cards you unsuspended.
