Hi there! I see you’ve upgraded to the core plan for AnkiHub to use the AnKing V12 deck. Let’s troubleshoot why you’re not seeing the deck in your Anki account.

Based on your screenshot and description, here are the steps to resolve this issue:

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Confirm your subscription is active

    • I can see in your screenshot that you are subscribed to the “AnKing Step Deck” (which is correct)
  2. Make sure you’re following the complete installation process:

    • Ensure the AnkiHub add-on is installed in Anki (code: 1322529746)
    • Log into the AnkiHub add-on with the same account you used for the subscription
    • Click the sync button in Anki after subscribing
    • If prompted to upload to AnkiWeb or download from AnkiWeb, follow the prompts
  3. If the deck isn’t appearing after sync:

    • Go to browse in your Anki → click on the AnkiHub addon tab → press “Reset all local changes”
    • This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has (unless you have specifically protected fields)
  4. Check if the deck content is actually there:

    • Go to Browse → Tags → look for the tag #AK_Step1_V12
    • If you see this tag with cards, the deck is actually installed but might be showing 0 cards because all cards are suspended by default

Important Notes

  • When you first install the deck, it may show 0 cards in the deck. This is normal as all cards are suspended by default.
  • To start using the deck, you’ll need to unsuspend cards as you study specific topics.

If you’ve followed all these steps and still don’t see the deck, please reply with screenshots of:

  1. Your AnkiHub addon menu in Anki
  2. The browse screen showing your tags

Hello,

Let’s try these two things first:

  1. Please make sure you’ve downloaded the AnkiHub add-on for Anki and that you’re logged into your account there. (Just checking—when you said you’re logged into AnkiHub, did you mean through the add-on in Anki or through the website?)

  2. Try resetting local changes using this guide:

If the issue continues or you see any error messages, let me know and I’ll help you sort it out!

Thank you for your response.

I am logged into both AnkiHub (website) and Ankihub on Anki application (as a third party log in)

I cannot reset local changes as the AnkIng version 12 deck does not register to my account… so it seems that there is an error between Ankiweb and Ankihub communication with my accounts? Thanks for your help!

Actually, AnkiHub does not use AnkiWeb. You’ll only use AnkiWeb to back up your collection and sync between devices.

Can you please go to the AnkiHub website and check if you’re subscribed to the deck? If you’re correctly logged into the AnkiHub add-on, the most likely reason the deck doesn’t appear when resetting local changes is that you might not be subscribed.

If you weren’t subscribed, once you subscribe and sync using the AnkiHub add-on, you’ll be prompted to download the deck.

I am presently subscribed to the Anking deck on AnkiHub. The version 12 deck reamins unseen in my tags and the Anking deck is not showing up as a deck I can manage in AnkiHub…

Hello

Have you installed and logged in via the AnkiHub add-on?

It looks on my end as though you may not have yet, which would prevent AnkiHub from being able to communicate with your local Anki collection. This seems like the likeliest explanation at the moment, in any event

In order for AnkiHub to be able to synchronize with your local collection you’ll want to make sure of the following:

  1. Make sure you have an active membership: Sign In
  2. Install the Ankihub addon: Install Ankihub Addon (New User)
  3. Subscribe to and install a deck: Subscribe/Install Step Deck (New User)
  4. Start using the deck: How to Get Started Studying

(the example used there is the Step Deck, though the same basic process applies for any deck on Ankihub)

Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.

I can verify that I am signed into AnkiHub from Anki desktop application. I have troubleshooted using the mentioned suggestions, but unfortuantely am not having any luck…

Hmm, I show on my end that it still has not registered as your having downloaded and logged into the AnkiHub add-on

Can you do a couple of things for me:

  • Show me where it is that you’re logged into AnkiHub from within Anki?
  • Click here and show me a screencap of your screen:

This is what I see on my Anki app under AnkiHub Sidebar.

This is what displays on my sign in when I sign into AnkiHub from the Anki App

Hmm, that is odd

Just to make sure, before digging deeper, can you confirm for me the username and/or email that you’re logging in with for the add-on?

I just want to make sure I’m 100% looking at the same account

And, second from that, apologies if someone has asked you previously but I want to make sure we’re circling all the right wagons: can you click on your top menu bar: Anki - About Anki and let me know what version number you’re running?

Yes- no problem!

my Ankihub user is dsbuchinsky21
My Anki version is Version ⁨24.11 (87ccd24e)⁊
Python 3.9.18 Qt 6.6.2 PyQt 6.6.1

Your correspondence is most appreciated

Ahhh, I think we may have found the issue:

It looks like you might have more than one account.

  • Username ‘dsbuchinsky21’ has an inactive account.
  • Username ‘dbu002’ has an active account, but has not yet logged into the AnkiHub add-on.

Given that info, I suspect you may be logging into a different account. Can you try using the dbu002 account, and see if that does the trick?

That did the trick! Thank you very much!!!
